Check the answer before the style
Does the draft solve the question in the brief? Remove sections that merely repeat the topic and add the example or instruction the reader needs to act.
Verify every consequential claim
Check numbers, product capabilities, quotes and dates against appropriate evidence. Replace unsupported claims with a clear limitation or remove them. A fluent sentence is not evidence.
Inspect the reader’s path
Review headings, links, image descriptions and the next step. Make sure metadata describes the page accurately and that the title does not promise more than the body delivers.
Close the publishing loop
Confirm the intended site, publication status and final URL. Read the live page on a narrow screen and record anything that needs correction. Keep a version note so future reviewers know why the page changed.
